Pathfinder Orbiter Removal

Signature Renovations was contracted by U.S. Space and Rocket Center, Huntsville, Alabama to remove the Pathfinder Shuttle display for refurbishment. The Pathfinder Display was installed in May of 1988 and had not touched the ground since that date.

Work involved an intricate disassembly of the major components of the Pathfinder Orbiter, while perched atop it’s display components. Signature meticulously removed motors, wings and the tail section in preparation for the 80 foot, 40 ton frame removal.
