Signature was the prime contractor for the renovation of the boiler system for the Central Heating Plant located at 325 13th St. SW Washington DC. Operated by GSA, this historic Industrial Art Deco Style Central Plant was built in 1933 and provides a reliable, cost-effective, and environmentally compatible supply of steam and chilled water to government office buildings, national monuments, and museums at the heart of the Nation’s Capital.  We replaced older sections of over 1000 tubes in the three-story tall boilers.
